How To Package Your eBook Or Online Course And Make It Sell

ecommerce, computer, cash

If you’ve been following my blog, you will know that I always emphasize on one thing – to create a profitable online course or eBook, you do not need to be the best in your industry or profession.

You only need to know how to package your knowledge.

Need some ideas? Let me share with you three simple and effective ways on how you can package your existing knowledge into online courses or eBooks that people will want to buy!

1. Target A Specific Audience

Instead of just writing an eBook on a broad topic like cooking and recipes (which a lot of people are doing), you can target your book at a specific group of people and focus on their needs!

For example, you can write an eBook on 30 Healthy Recipes That Even Kids Can Prepare And Have Fun !

Creating a digital product for a specific target audience has two advantages:

  • Your product can command a higher price than one that targets the general market;
  • Attract better targeted customers who will be more interested to engage your back-end services or purchase other products that you offer.

2. Solving A Problem

It is important to package your knowledge into something that can help people to solve a real problem that they face. Your product should present customers with a solution that can potentially make their lives better.

Let me give you an example. If you want to teach people to market their videos on YouTube, instead of creating a course on “The Essentials Of YouTube Marketing”, you can position the course as “The YouTube Guide In Getting Your First 1,000 Subscribers”!

Notice the difference. The second title provides a specific solution to a problem – people want to increase their YouTube subscribers or viewership. This type of packaging is definitely more appealing to the market as people are always looking for fixes to solve their problems.

3. Your Personal Success Story

One other way is to package your course or eBook to feature your own unique success story!

For instance if you are making $500 online every month, you can teach people how to achieve the same! There are plenty of books written based on personal success stories.

It really does not matter how big or small your success story is, because there will always be people who are looking for inspiration on different definitions and levels of success!

Packaging is key – don’t neglect the above elements when you are planning to create your online course or eBook!
